Do I have enough items to have a sale?

If you are liquidating an entire household, there is typically more than enough content to support a full two-to-three day estate sale.

Can I just do it myself?

Managing an estate sale requires significant time and effort. Pricing, organizing, researching, staging, advertising and running the sale can be overwhelming- especially for families already navigating a transition. Hiring professionals removes that burden.

How do you determine the value of my items?

We rely on years of experience and current market research to price items accurately and competitively.

How do you ensure strong attendance at our sale?

We have a loyal base of regular followers, established relationships with specialty dealers, and a comprehensive marketing strategy designed to consistently attract a large and engaged audience.

Should we clean up the house or remove items before hiring an estate sale company?

We recommend removing personal papers, sensitive documents, and properly disposing of medications. Otherwise, it's best to leave items in place. Any unsold items can be donated or discarded after the sale.

How long does an estate sale last?

Most estate sales run two to three days, typically Thursday through Saturday.

How much does the average estate sale make?

There is no standard amount, as results vary based on the contents and volume of each home. During our intial consultation, we can provide a more personalized estimate.

What are your fees, and how do you get paid?

We work on a commission-basis only. There are no upfront costs or setup fees. Payment is collected after the sale has concluded.

Is Golden Girls Estate Sales registered and insured?
